Riordan Pool in Ottawa will open Friday, June 11

Pool passes are available; daily admission is $4

Riordan Pool in Ottawa will open for the season Friday, June 11.

Opening day admission is $1.

A family pass, which covers four people, is $250 for the summer with a maximum of four more people that live in the same household that can be added for $25 each. An individual pass is $150 for the season and a 10-swim pass is $30.

Daily admission is $4 and children ages 2 and younger are free.

Daily admission can only be paid with cash. Because of the low price of admission the pool does not keep enough change to accept anything larger than a $20 bill.

Pool staff can accept cash or check to purchase pool passes. Passes will be available for purchase at the pool.

The Riordan Pool was closed all of last summer as a precautionary measure during the pandemic.

The pool is in need of repairs, but it will remain operational, said Commissioner Marla Rodriguez. The repairs needed can be addressed with the pool remaining open, she said.
