A 56-year-old Ottawa man was arrested after an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team into cocaine sales in the Ottawa area.

Carl D. Winchester was arrested 4 p.m. Thursday on a La Salle County warrant on a charge of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, which is a class 2 felony carrying a sentencing range of three to seven years in prison if found guilty.

Winchester was taken to La Salle County Jail where he is being held on $500,000 bond, needing $50,000 for release.
