The Marquette boys basketball scored the opening nine points of Monday's Class 1A regional quarterfinal against Dwight, led by 20 three minutes into the second quarter and eventually recorded a 66-33 victory at Bader Gymnasium.

Streator senior Noah Russow posted a team-leading 15 goals and 13 assists this past fall. The 4-time Illinois Central Eight All-Conference selection and 3-time IHSSCA All-Sectional honoree is the 2024 Times Boys Soccer Player of the Year.
