Bridge east of Grand Ridge will close Sept. 21 for repairs

A bridge on East 19th Road in Grand Rapids Township, northeast of Grand Ridge, will be closed for repairs beginning Wednesday, Sept. 21.

The La Salle County Highway Department said work on the bridge, located between North 22nd and North 23rd roads, is expected to be completed by Monday, Oct. 3.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes around the construction site.
