Ottawa Elementary to provide free breakfast, lunch to all students

Ottawa Elementary Superintendent Michelle Lee sent a letter to parents Tuesday morning letting them know the district will be able to provide free breakfasts and lunches to all students starting this school year.

The Illinois State Board of Education notified the district Tuesday each child will receive a hot lunch and breakfast every day. The meal will be as posted on the lunch schedule.

Breakfast will be served daily at all buildings and must be eaten at the school.
