Children’s Theatre of Western Springs to bring ‘Shrek The Musical’ to life

The Children’s Theatre of Western Springs will present “Shrek The Musical” for two weekends. The Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure is based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film.

Curtain is at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 11; 3 and 7 p.m. Dec. 12; 7 p.m. Dec. 17; 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 18; and 3 p.m. Dec. 19. Tickets cost $15 for general admission, $12 for youth age 18 and younger.

In addition to Ava, other Downers Grove children in the cast include Ari Eli, James Barney, Veronica Veers, Mae O’Connell, Georgia and June Marzo, and Richard Kluchenek.
