Lemont participated in Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival for third straight year

For the third straight year and the seventh time overall, Lemont High School’s Honors Symphonic Band was selected to participate in the state’s premier band festival, the University of Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival.

The festival was held May 9 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois in Urbana.

The Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival amounts to the state championship for concert bands.
