The Grundy County Board voted to approve a joint funding agreement with the federal government for a $2.7 million bridge construction project on Rice Road near South Wilmington.
The county will be on the hook for $550,000, with the federal government paying $2.2 million.
The Rice Road bridge is the bridge that connects South Wilmington and East Brooklyn in Southeast Grundy County.
