Grundy County approves $44,000 contract for plan to improve Minooka and O’Brien Road intersection

The Grundy County Administration Center at 1320 Union St. in Morris.

The Grundy County Board approved a $44,000 agreement with Chamlin & Associates to improve the intersection of Minooka and O’Brien Roads.

County Administrator Mary Kucharz said the construction that will stem from these plans will improve the maneuverability for larger vehicles.

Kucharz said these funds are already accounted for in the highway budget, and it received a positive recommendation from the highway committee.
