The Joliet Region Easterseals is hosting a family wellness event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Lions Park, 598 Michael Drive, Morris.

The event is free, and will feature the Colgate dental bus, car seat safety checks, a touch-a-truck, free flu shots, free developmental screenings for ages 0-3, and information on WIC.

Those who have health insurance cards should bring them if they are wishing to get a flu shot.
