SYCAMORE – St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will begin Lenten services by offering the Holy Eucharist in person with imposition of ashes at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2.
For those unable to attend the services, “Ashes to Go” will be held in front of the church, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The ashes are a sign of penitence and a reminder of mortality and are imposed with the sign of the cross.
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is located at 218 Somonauk St. in Sycamore.
