Police association sets charity golf outing

The DeKalb Police Benevolent & Protective Association will host its 20th annual charity golf outing on July 10 to raise money for Special Olympics.

The outing will begin at 1 p.m. at River Heights Golf Course.

Four-person teams will play in a scramble format. Cost of $65 per player includes golf, riding cart, lunch before golf, and dinner afterward.

Those who would like to sponsor a hole, donate a raffle prize, enter a team, or join an existing team as an individual, should contact Sgt. Chad McNett at the DeKalb Police Department before June 28. There are several sponsorship levels available.

For information, contact McNett at 815-748-8439 or chad.mcnett@cityofdekalb.com.
