IVVC names outstanding students

SANDWICH – Indian Valley Vocational Center has announced its Outstanding Spring Students.

This recognition program may spotlight a student from 16 programs on site, plus cosmetology, selected by the program instructors. The criteria included are qualities such as outstanding professional work, enthusiasm, attendance, initiative and demonstrated work ethic.

Each IVVC program will select a different student three times during the year for this special recognition. The students receive a certificate denoting this award.

The Outstanding Spring 2021 Students from the area are David Negrete, Auto Technology II, Indian Creek High School; Emma Roth, Certified Nursing Assistant, Leland HS; Veasna Schwingle, Computer Technology, Sandwich HS; Jordan Wilkinson, Construction Trades, Earlville HS; Gabriel Oeters, Culinary Arts, Hinckley-Big Rock HS; Nevada Beatty, Fire Science, Sandwich; Adeline Titzel, Graphic Design, Somonauk HS; Tessa Prellberg, Sports Medicine, H-BR; Kaylee Krider, Teaching Methods, Somonauk; and Ajay Jess, Welding & Fabrication, Earlville.

IVVC is owned and operated by 10 school districts: Earlville District 9, Hinckley-Big Rock District 429, Indian Creek District 425, Leland District 1, Newark District 18, Plano District 88, Sandwich District 430, Serena District 2, Somonauk District 432 and Yorkville District 115.
