CHICAGO – Heritage Golf Group announced the purchase of a long-term leasehold interest in White Deer Run Golf Club in Vernon Hills.
The village of Vernon Hills approved Heritage Golf Group as the long-term lessee of the daily fee golf club.
White Deer Run represents Heritage’s second golf course acquisition in the Chicago area. Heritage purchased the private Boulder Ridge Country Club in northwest Chicago in March.

White Deer Run frequently is the host site for prominent charity golf tournaments, and the clubhouse and surrounding outdoor space accommodates weddings and business meetings. The club has an expansive driving range and a golf academy.
Heritage Golf Group was founded in 1999. Current ownership purchased Heritage Golf Group and its six golf courses in January 2020. The Heritage Golf Group has now grown to 13 courses located in Illinois; Virginia; Florida; Hilton Head, South Carolina; Westchester County, New York; New Jersey; and Wisconsin.
