Hawthorn Mall invites shoppers to explore FIT:MATCH

Shopping center aims to help customers find the right fit every time

Some stores in Vernon Hills' Hawthorn Mall had already shut their doors Wednesday ahead of the official closing Thursday.

Vernon Hills' Hawthorn Mall is offering a technology to help shoppers find their right fit every time.

VERNON HILLS – Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills announced FIT:MATCH promotional events will take place Jan. 23 and 24 and every other weekend in February and March.

To participate, download the Hawthorn Mall MyPerks app and then get “fitched.” A 3D body scan helps participants find the best fitting clothes at the FIT:MATCH pop-up location at Hawthorn Mall.

FIT:MATCH is an apparel shopping match platform that uses 3D AI-powered technology to present shoppers with recommendations of clothes from participating brands that fit them based on accurate body data and preferences.

The FIT:MATCH pop-up studio, where shoppers can get “fitched,” or 3D measured, is on the lower level of Hawthorn Mall, near Center Park.

The experience is free, contactless and takes only about two minutes. Those participating in the promotion will receive a MyPerks mug and a $25 gift card to one of the following stores: Aeropostale, American Eagle, Journey’s, Lane Bryant or PacSun. One gift card per person while supplies last.
