Police arrest two juveniles in trespass, fleeing incident

Plano police arrested two female juveniles at 11:30 p.m. Dec 3 on charges of fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, possession of liquor by a person younger than 21, criminal trespass to vehicle, no driver’s license and resisting a peace officer.

Police said events leading to the arrests originated as officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in the 4200 block of Dillon Street. While en route, police said officers were notified that one of the individuals had left the residence using a vehicle without permission.

Police said an officer found the vehicle in the area of Needham Road and Hale Street and attempted to stop it, but it fled the scene. Police said the officer did not pursue the vehicle, but found it down the street where it was involved in an accident. Both the driver and the passenger of the vehicle fled on foot, but were later located by officers and arrested.

Police said the suspects were released after being given dates to appear at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville.

Driving on revoked license

Plano police ticketed Benancio Carmargo-Mendoza, 50, of the 900 block of Churchill Drive, Plano, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 8:16 p.m. Dec. 31 on East South Street and South Ben Street. Police said Carmargo-Mendoza was cited for driving on a revoked license.

License violation

Plano police ticketed Jarrett R. Starwood, 35, 7300 block of Tennessee Drive, Willowbrook, after stopping the vehicle he was driving at 9 p.m. Dec. 29 on Route 34 at Lew Street. Police said Starwood was cited for driving without a valid license.
