Possession of Cannabis
Yorkville police issued a city ordinance to Emma S. Belmore, 23, of the 1100 block of Lillian Lane, Sandwich, for possession of cannabis after conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle reportedly speeding at 11:21 p.m., June 3, in the area of Marketplace Drive and East Veterans Parkway. Upon investigation, officers discovered Belmore was in possession of cannabis in a non-sealed, non-odor proof, and non-child safe container, and issued the citation.
