No injuries, no citations in Yorkville crash involving school bus

No one was injured when a Septran school bus transporting 20 Yorkville School District 115 students was involved in an accident at 8:26 a.m. Jan 25 at Bristol Bay Drive and Rosenwinkel Street in Yorkville.

In a statement, Yorkville police said the crash occurred when the school bus, driven by a 48 year-old Bristol resident, was turning eastbound onto Bristol Bay Drive from Rosenwinkel Street and its rear passenger side tire struck the front driver’s side bumper of a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country driven by a 44 year-old Montgomery resident.

Police said neither vehicle needed to be towed from the scene and no citations were issued.
