No injuries were reported in a crash involving a Yorkville School District 115 bus and a 2013 Nissan SUV that occurred at 8:21 a.m. May 12 in the area of Prairie Grass Lane and Autumn Creek Boulevard in Yorkville, according to Yorkville police.

In a statement, police said the crash occurred when the SUV backed into the school bus, which contained 11 Yorkville School District students.

Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District paramedics responded to the scene as a precaution, but none of the students were injured in the crash, according to police.

The driver of the SUV, Eric H. Stolpestad, 49, of the 2600 block of Lilac Way, Yorkville, was ticketed for improper backing, police said.
