BREAKING: Route 71 closed near Yorkville as police respond to crash

POSTED UPDATED AT 2:40 P.M. MONDAY, AUG. 2.

Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies and Illinois State Police are responding to a traffic crash on Route 71 in the vicinity of Hilltop Road, southeast of Yorkville.

Police have closed Route 71 between Route 126 and Reservation Road.

Police were summoned to the crash at approximately 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2.
