The Foxes started their day with a win over Rock Island, ranked fifth in Class 2A. Yorkville winners included Jack Ferguson, Dom Coronado, Ryder Janeczko, Cole Farren, Luke Zook, Nick Sinopoli, Brody Williams, Hunter Janeczko and Ben Alvarez.

Yorkville 51, Crystal Lake Central 21

The Foxes improved to 7-0 with a win over Crystal Lake Central, ranked No. 12 in Class 2A. Yorkville match winners included Raymond Cavey, Jack Ferguson, Dominic Recchia, Dom Coronado, Ryder Janeczko, Cam Peach, Cole Farren, Brody Williams, Hunter Janeczko and Ben Alvarez.

Sandwich 45, Plainfield Central 12

Sandwich winners included Ashlyn Strenz (113), Miles Corder (132), Sy Smith (138), Nolan Bobee (145), Aidan Linden (152), Bryce Decker (160), Sammy Dale (170), Alex Alfaro (182) and Kaiden Gustafson (195).

Patrick Robinson scored 17 points and Mekhi Lowery added 10 for the Wolves, who improved to 7-0. Tyler Jasek chipped in seven points.

Yorkville Christian 98, Tennessee Prep 91

Jaden Schutt scored 36 points, K.J. Vasser 31 and Tyler Burrows 31 for the Mustangs (4-3) at the Hendricks County Hoopsfest in Indiana.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
