The Walmart Supercenter store at 2000 Orchard Road in Montgomery remains closed following a fire Thursday afternoon.

“Due to a fire related incident reported today at 12:49 p.m., Walmart will be closed for business in Montgomery until further notice,” the village of Montgomery states in a Facebook post.

No injuries were reported by officers on the scene and the building was safely evacuated while fire officials investigated, according to the post.
