The Sandwich VFW Post 1486 is sponsoring a pig roast from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Sandwich VFW, 713 S. Main St.

The event is drive-thru only. Cost of the dinner is $12, which includes pork, coleslaw, vegetable, dinner roll and dessert. Proceeds from event will benefit area veterans programs.
