Girls Volleyball: Kane County Chronicle All Area Team

Led by Kane County Chronicle Girls Volleyball Player of the Year Anna Loberg, here is the All-Area team.

Samantha Abruzzo, Kaneland, senior, libero: The Purdue University Northwest commit had nine aces, a 96% serving percentage and 110 digs in 16 matches for the Knights, who won the Interstate Eight Conference.

Maddie Buckley, Kaneland, junior, outside hitter: Buckley had 15 aces, an 82% serving percentage, 135 kills, 66 digs and 16 blocks in 16 matches.

Devynn Day, Geneva, senior, outside hitter: Day dazzled for the Vikings with 135 kills, 105 digs, 12 aces and 11 blocks.

Rylie Hahn, Burlington Central, junior, outside hitter: Hahn had 113 kills, 65 digs, five blocks and five aces for the Rockets.

Anna Loberg, Geneva, senior, setter: The Kane County Chronicle Player of the Year, Loberg also was named the DuKane Conference Player of the Year after starring for the conference champion Vikings. Loberg, a South Alabama commit, had 307 assists, 72 digs, 44 kills and 20 aces.

Katlyn Sipes, St. Francis, senior, libero: Will play collegiately at Seattle University. Sipes had 193 digs, 21 aces and 25 assists.

Ally Warburton, St. Charles North, senior, middle: Warburton starred for the North Stars with 123 kills, 108 digs and 22 aces.
