Local historian Dave Reed will explore Streator’s connection to the Gettysburg Address at the JOY senior group’s first program of 2026 on Wednesday, March 18 at 1 p.m. at Park Place.

The program, titled “The Gettysburg Address—The Streator Connection,” includes dessert. A $5 donation is requested.

JOY programs will be held on the third Wednesday of each month going forward. To reserve a spot, call 815-673-1526.
