Arts fund awards $12,575 in grants to local organizations

The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund will award grants totaling $12,575 to eight organizations for nine projects in 2026, according to the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation.

The Reddick Public Library in Ottawa received a $500 grant for art materials, said fund administrator Rene Parks Wendinger.

The Arts of Starved Rock Country Fund is a component fund of the Starved Rock Country Community Foundation and receives support from Illinois Arts Council grants.
