The 600 block of Bellevue Avenue in Ottawa was closed Tuesday for an emergency sewer repair, city officials announced.

The full closure is located between Elm Lane and the east side of Walsh Park. Contractors expect the work to be completed and the road reopened by the end of the day.

Local traffic will have limited access on the west side near Post Street and on the east side near Champlain Street while repairs are underway.
