Streator Chamber of Commerce hosts DIY craft event

Christmas themed event open to all ages

The dome and mural restoration project at the Streator Public Library is two thirds of the way complete. Mural restoration is ongoing.

The Streator Chamber of Commerce is inviting people to a no-cost DIY Christmas themed craft event at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Streator Public Library, 130 S. Park St. (Derek Barichello)

The Streator Chamber of Commerce is inviting people to a no-cost DIY Christmas themed craft event at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Streator Public Library, 130 S. Park St.

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own Salt & Pepper Shaker Snowmen during the event.

The event is open to people of any age and there is no fee or sign-up required.
