Streator library celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday

Author’s birthday has become a nationwide reading celebration

The Streator Public Library hosted a Dr. Seuss celebration Saturday.

Children took part in games, a storytime and a craft to commemorate Dr. Seuss’s birthday. The author’s birthday has become a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on or around March 2.
