The La Salle County Highway Department closed Dee Bennett Road from the intersection of North 2803rd Road and North 27th Road west of Utica, county officials said in a Facebook post.

The roads, near the La Salle County Nursing Home, have been closed because of heavy water and ice, the La Salle County Emergency Management Agency said in a post.

La Salle County Nursing Home Nursing Home Administrator Carrie Becker said that right now the nursing home is preparing in case of an evacuation, but nothing has been determined.
