North 24th Road in Grand Rapids Township, northeast of Grand Ridge, will be closed for a culvert replacement beginning Monday, Oct. 23.

The La Salle County Highway Department said the project, located just less than 3 miles east of Route 23, is expected to be completed in one month, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes around the construction site.
