On Friday night the host Wildcats added another glorious chapter to their history as they posted a dominant 43-17 win on their home turf at the Johnson-Brainerd Sports Complex to earn a round two rematch back at home next weekend with No. 7 Lake Forest.

Quinn Schambow threw for 373 yards and five touchdowns, and Libertyville used the quick strike through the air to beat Warren 35-28 to win the North Suburban Conference title.

Libertyville was aiming to keep its undefeated season going when the fifth-ranked Class 6A team in the state visited Lake Forest Friday night in North Suburban Conference football action. They couldn’t, falling 42-35.

Quinn Schambow threw for 322 yards and five touchdowns as Libertyville took care of Mundelein and took control of the North Suburban Conference.

Senior quarterback Quinn Schambow threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns, while senior running back Steven Strelow piled up 222 yards combined rushing and receiving in Libertyville's 29-14 win over Lake Zurich.

Quinn Schambow threw for a career-high 387 yards, and Blaise LaVista caught four of his passes for 235 yards in Libertyville's 43-14 win over Stevenson.
