Resurrection Community Church of the Nazarene has announced Dr. Chris Branstetter will be the keynote speaker for its International Day event at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. Resurrection Community is located at 425 E. Court Street in Kankakee.

Branstetter has worked overseas with the Church of the Nazarene in Bulgaria, China and Japan. As an educator, he has taught in seminaries and bible colleges around the world. He holds a Ph.D. in Wesleyan Studies from Drew University.
