Rotaract Club to host drive-thru Culver’s fundraiser

SYCAMORE – The Rotaract Club of Sycamore is partnering with Culver’s of Sycamore for a Share Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at 1200 DeKalb Ave.

During the event, 15% of the proceeds made in the drive-thru will benefit the young professionals’ community service projects. Participants must mention the Rotaract Club or show the flyer at the window.

The flyer can be found on the club’s website or Facebook page.

The club’s next project focus is a hygiene supply drive for students in Sycamore and DeKalb schools in partnership with the Regional Office of Education. Gretchen Sprinkle, Rotaract’s community service chair, was inspired to propose this project after learning more about the needs of the area’s homeless population from the DeKalb County ROE.

More details – including supply wish lists, donation locations and times, and how to access these supplies – will be communicated with the community as they become available, according to a news release from the club.
