SYCAMORE - Two Sycamore businesses were cited by police this week for selling alcohol to a minor, according to the Sycamore Police Department, which recently conducted compliance checks throughout the city.

Circle K at 429 E. State St. and 7-Eleven at 404 W. State St. were cited after a compliance check Thursday after police discovered employees at both businesses sold alcohol to a minor, according to a Friday news release from the Sycamore Police Department.

The citations are part of regular compliance investigations Sycamore police conduct on area business.
