Hononegah ended DeKalb’s season in the Class 4A Hampshire Regional’s second semifinal match Tuesday, downing the Barbs in straight sets, 25-15, 25-16.

Sycamore was cruising, up seven and looking to prolong its season after dropping the first set Tuesday against Burlington Central in a Class 3A Sycamore Regional semifinal. The Rockets had other plans, rolling off 14 of the next 16 points in a 25-15, 25-18 win.
