DeKalb-Sycamore swimmer Molly Allison’s season came to an end Friday in the preliminary round of the IHSA state meet at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont.

La Salle-Peru — led by Ethan Picco and Chance Hank — held off a late charge from Sycamore to claim the I-8 Conference Meet title.

Joey Johanning takes the helm of a Sycamore team that has had a stranglehold on the Interstate 8 and before that the Northern Illinois Big 12 for the last few years.
