Youth invited to chess club in DeKalb

DeKALB – The DeKalb Public Library will host two Teen and Tween Chess Club sessions for youth ages 9 to 18 to play chess.

The sessions will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. May 7 and 21 in the library’s Nancy D. Castle Collaboration Studio, 309 Oak St.

Participants can learn about and play chess. Snacks will be provided. No registration is required to attend.
