Princeton gets its revenge on St. Bede

Volleyball: Princeton def. St. Bede 26-24, 27-25

Two nights after losing at St. Bede, the Princeton Tigresses came back to defeat the Lady Bruins 26-24, 27-25 at Prouty Gym.

Princeton improved to 6-4 with the win. St. Bede fell to 10-5.

McKenzie Hecht led the Tigresses at the net with 11 kills with Maya Gartin adding nine and Madison Richards eight. The trio had one block each.

Abby Peterson tallied 11 points and 18 digs. Savanna Birkey had nine digs and Libby Boyles and Morgan Coleman added seven each.

PHS served up seven aces with Coleman netting two and five others with one each.

Princeton handed the St. Bede sophomores their first loss, rallying for a 23-25, 25-22, 15-9 victory.

St. Bede won the freshmen match 25-21, 20-25, 15-13.
