Bob Byrne: September was ‘very warm and dry’

Bob Byrne of Princeton, COOP observer for the National Service Weather, has reported the statistics for the month of September. The average high was 82 degrees. The average low was 52 degrees. The precipitation was .72 inches. For comparison, the normal average temperature for September is 76 degrees and average low is 54 degrees. The precipitation normal is 3.53 inches.

Overall, Byrne said is was “a very warm and dry month. Hopefully, we will get adequate moisture before winter sets it.”
