The Walnut Fire Department will hold an open house with different activities starting at noon and an interactive Jurassic Adventure, featuring a walking T-Rex and baby dinosaur, will also be held at noon by the Avanti’s Gazebo area.
A new and improved Mobile Escape Room will be taking up to eight guests every 15 minutes from 1-8 p.m. Family Bingo will be in the community building from 3-5 p.m. and a Nerf War will take place from 4-6 p.m.
Live music will be played throughout the day by 212 (noon-2 p.m.), Matt Eckberg Band (3-5 p.m.) and Seven Miles South (6-8 p.m.).
A variety of food and drink vendors will be uptown throughout the day.
“The vision of Fall Fest on Main is to be a family-friendly event with activities throughout the day for all ages,” Jamison said. “Everything is right on Main Street and all within walking distance.
“We are so appreciative of all the volunteers and sponsors that make this event happen.”
