PRINCETON — Bureau County grand jury has returned indictments on cases heard in July and August.
Lyle D. Behm, 32, of Princeton, was indicted for the Class 2 felony offense of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. He is accused of delivering less than 5 grams of methamphetamine to another person. An agent from the Trident Drug Task Force testified before the Grand Jury. Behm is free from custody after posting bond in the amount of $10,000, 10% of which was paid for his release.
Lane Nelson, 22, of Princeton, was indicted for the class 3 felony offense of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He is accused of possessing less than 5 grams of methamphetamine. An officer from the Princeton Police Department testified before the Grand Jury. Nelson is in custody of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department with bond set in the amount of $20,000, 10% of which must be posted for his release.
Joshua Trahan, 39, of Spring Valley, was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of resisting a peace officer. He is accused of resisting arrest by pulling away and resisting to be handcuffed from by Spring Valley Officer, which caused injury to the officer. The officer from the Spring Valley Police Department testified before the Grand Jury. This defendant is free from custody after posting bond the requisite bond.
Juan Manzanares, 35, of Spring Valley, was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of criminal damage to property. He is accused of purposely driving his vehicle into a vehicle belonging to another and causing damage in the between the amount of $500 and $10,000. An officer from the Spring Valley Police Department testified before the Grand Jury. Manzanares is free from custody after posting bond in the amount of $20,000-10% ($1,940-bail reform act) of which was posted for his release.
Daniel Garcia, 32, of Spring Valley, was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of criminal damage to property. He is accused of purposely driving his vehicle into a vehicle belonging to another, on two occasions and causing damage in excess of $10,000. An officer from the Spring Valley Police Department testified before the Grand Jury. Garcia is in custody of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department with bond set in the amount of $100,000, 10% of which must be posted for his release.
Brian Richard Morgan, 40, of Woodridge, was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of possession of burglary tools. He is accused of possessing tools suitable for breaking into a building with the intent to enter such place. A deputy from the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department testified before the Grand Jury. Morgan is free from custody after posting bond in the amount of $100,000-10% ($9,820.00-bail reform act) for his release.
Amber N. Grivetti Housman, 27, of Custer Park, Ill. was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of possession of burglary tools and the class 4 felony offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine). She is accused of possessing tools suitable for breaking into a building with the intent to enter such place and also accused of having in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine. A deputy from the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department testified before the Grand Jury. Grivetti Houseman is free from custody after posting bond in the amount of $50,0000-10% ($4,490.00-bail reform act), of which was posted for her release.
Jared M. Storm, 20, homeless, was indicted for the class 4 felony offense of criminal damage to government supported property. He is accused of damaging a piece of equipment at the Bureau County Jail causing the equipment to become inoperable. A Deputy from the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department testified before the Grand Jury. Storm is in custody of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department with bond set in the amount of $10,000, 10% of which must be posted for his release.
Isaiah C. Austin, 25, of Ohio, Ill. was indicted for the class 2 felony offense of aggravated battery. Austin is accused of making physical contact of an insulting and provoking nature in that he pushed an officer in the chest with his hand. A Tiskilwa Police Officer testified before the Grand Jury. The defendant is in custody of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department with bond set in the amount of $75,000, 10% of which must be posted for his release.
Eric P. Sobin, 20, of Spring Valley, was indicted for the class 3 felony offense of aggravated battery. Sobin is accused of causing bodily harm to a Spring Valley Man by stabbing him in the upper back. A Spring Valley Police Officer testified before the Grand Jury. The defendant is in custody of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department with bond set in the amount of $25,000, 10% of which must be posted for his release.
Jeremiah J. Marsala, 23, Spring Valley, was indicted for two counts of the class 1 felony offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine). He is accused of delivering less than 15 grams of cocaine to another person on two separate occasions. An agent from the Trident Drug Task Force testified before the Grand Jury. Marsala is free from custody after posting bond in the amount of $25,000, 10% of which was posted for his release.
These indictments were presented to the Grand Jury by State’s Attorney Geno Caffarini and Assistant States Attorney Daniel C. Anderson and were returned before Judge Marc Bernabei and Judge James Andreoni.
These indictments are accusations against the defendants. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
