Girls basketball: Illinois Valley Warriors win 16 U National championship

The Illinois Warriors girls basketball team won the 36th annual USJN 16U National Championship in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. Team members include Keighley Davis of Princeton, Addison Pertell of Amboy and Macy Gochanour of Fieldcrest along with Avery Braden of Maroa-Forsyth, Myli Ehrhardt of El Paso, Grace Lanning of Pontiac, Anna Warren of Gibson City, Gabby Hutchinson of Morton and Allison Lambe of Pekin.

Three local players took part in the Illinois Valley Warriors girls basketball team’s run to the 36th annual USJN 16U National Championship in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.

Keighley Davis of Princeton, Addison Pertell of Amboy and Macy Gochanour of Fieldcrest suited up for the Warriors along with Avery Braden of Maroa-Forsyth, Myli Ehrhardt of El Paso, Grace Lanning of Pontiac, Anna Warren of Gibson City, Gabby Hutchinson of Morton and Allison Lambe of Pekin.
