Eric Bryant Sr. has been golfing for many years. On Sept. 16, he finally got his first hole-in-one.

The Hall of Fame basketball coach from DePue and Hall aced the 132-yard No. 7 hole using a 7 iron.

It was witnessed by Bill “Clyde” Ellis, “Artie” Chiaventone and Tom Dobrich.

Bryant was inducted into the BCR’s Bureau County Sports Hall of Fame this summer in addition to being enshrined in the Hall High School and IBCA Halls of Fame.
