All kinds of spooks and ghouls filled Main Street in Princeton on Saturday, Oct. 9, during the 2nd annual Halloween parade. The parade began at the corner of Main and Putnam street and continue south to Soldiers and Sailors Park, down Park Ave West and ended at the Bureau County Fairgrounds. The Nightmare spooks strolled the parade route, along with Gary Swanson's musical Halloween float, the Princeton Moose Lodge, Karma Karnival and the Spirits of the Night Ghost Hunters and many other creepy characters.
The Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce will host a drive-thru job fair at the Prouty Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 15. This event is open to all ages and experiences. In addition to this job fair, Princeton also has local recruiters looking to connect people and businesses for new job opportunities.
