Elijah Leek, 20, of 1011 Seventh St., Peru was picked up at 9:22 p.m. Friday at Third and Crosat streets on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear, La Salle police said.

Isaiah L. Harper, 20, of 215 E. First St., Spring Valley was charged with expired registration and no valid driver’s license at 11:58 a.m. Saturday at Fourth and Peoria streets, Peru police said.

Desa Raley, 47, of 930½ Prospect Ave., Peru was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage at 9:33 p.m. Sunday at Fifth and Peoria streets, Peru police said.

Larmont Walker, 27, of 561 Ottumwa St., Apartment 6, Ottumwa, Iowa was charged with driving while license suspended, no valid registration and operating an uninsured vehicle at 10:55 p.m. Sunday at Interstate 80 and Plank Road, Peru police said.

Oussama Mhiri, 35, of 111 S. 13th Ave., A8, Mendota was charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and an ordinance violation (possession of cannabis less than 30 grams) at 11:53 p.m. Friday at Route 251 and North 32nd Road, Peru police said.

Diane N. Montez, 33, of 16779 3000E St., Princeton was charged with driving while suspended at 10:51 p.m. Thursday at West Walnut Street and North Kenosha Avenue, Oglesby police said.

Jacob J. Popurella, 25, of 529 Swift Ave., Oglesby was charged with domestic battery Thursday at 3:20 p.m. at 529 Swift Ave., Oglesby police said.

Stephanie Curry, 28, of 1012 E. Wilson St., Streator was picked up at 6:24 p.m. Sunday at 204 S Bloomington St. on a Livingston County warrant for failure to appear (driving while suspended), Streator police said.

James L. Anthony III, 44, of Norwood, La., and Teneka T. Johnson, 40, of South Holland were charged with felony possession of fraudulent identification at 8:21 p.m. Thursday at Menard’s, Peru police said.

Garett Towner, 29, of 2714 N. 3764th Road, Sheridan was picked up at 6:31 p.m. Thursday in his residence on a Will County warrant for failure to appear (driving while suspended), La Salle County Sheriff’s Office said.

A 16-year-old Oglesby man was cited for speeding 104 mph in a 55-mph speed zone and for having more than the one-passenger limit at 4:09 p.m. Friday at Route 251 near North 25th Road in La Salle Township, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Sarah T. Beavers, 49, of 1105 Sundown St., Streator was picked up at 7:15 p.m. Friday at her residence on a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for driving under the influence, according to the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Beavers was transported to the La Salle County Jail. Bond was set at $10,000 and 10 percent to apply.

Patrick D. McGhee, 59, homeless, was picked up at 5:48 p.m. Monday at the homeless shelter in Ottawa on a La Salle County warrant for felony driving while license suspended, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

Savana K. Phelps, 20, of Grand Ridge was transported by Grand Ridge ambulance to OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ottawa after a single-vehicle rollover at 8:37 p.m. Monday at E. 1225th and N. 2150th roads, west of Grand Ridge, according to La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Phelps was treated and released, OSF confirmed. Phelps was traveling north on E. 1225th Road, attempted to stop at a stop sign, and her vehicle slid through the intersection, down the embankment and rolled over coming to rest in a field, police said.

Allen D. Derby, 38, of 1480 U.S. 6 Apt. 3, Ottawa was picked up at 1:01 a.m. Sunday at his residence for a La Salle County failure-to-appear warrant for obstructing identification and for a Anoka County, Minn., failure-to-appear warrant for felony fifth degree possession of drugs, small amount of marijuana, according to the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were originally dispatched to his residence for a civil dispute, police said.

Gary A. Sharisky, 52, of Streator was charged with improper lane usage, disobeying a traffic control device and driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at 2:35 a.m. Sunday at Bloomington and Frech streets, Streator, according to the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.

MENDOTA — Sadie L. Mulroy, 22, of 1201 Fifth St., Mendota was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:25 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on 13th Avenue and Burlington Street, according to Mendota police.

WATERMAN — Desaray A Treadway, 22, of 188 Chicago Road, Paw Paw was charged with driving while license suspended at 2:13 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop at Shabbona Grove and Waterman roads near Waterman, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s office.

Michael Davis, 32, of 709 W. Bridge St., Streator was picked up at 11:37 a.m. Monday at Teke’s Lounge, 113 W. Main St., Streator on a Putnam County failure-to-appear warrant for driving while license suspended, Streator police said.
