BATAVIA — Fifty raffle baskets will highlight Starfish Animal Rescue’s 10th annual “Santa Paws” fundraiser from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
According to a news release, the event will be held in the nonprofit’s parking lot at 167 OswaltAve. in Batavia (enter off Bond Street).
Admission is free. Masks are required and raffle tables will be socially distanced.
Raffle tickets are $5 and include a carryout lunch. In additionto raffle baskets, a bake sale will be held and hot dogs and hamburgers will be served.
An online basket raffle,“12 Days of Santa Paws,” featuring 12 baskets is now underway. Baskets are raffled daily through Dec. 12. Tickets are $5.

Founded in 2006, Plainfield-based Starfish isa licensed nonprofit rescue that mobilizes volunteers to transport dogs, cats,puppies and kittens from high-kill shelters in Kentucky for fostering and adoptionin Chicago-area homes.
