Geneva's The Little Traveler temporarily closed

Customers can shop online or via an employee over social media

GENEVA – A longtime staple in downtown Geneva is temporarily closed for in-store shopping.

According to a post on Facebook, The Little Traveler's owner Mike Simon stated that the store is closing "out of an abundance of caution" until COVID-19 infection rates decrease in the community.

"We want to continue to be your go-to destination for all things you count on us for, so we'll be going overboard to be available to help you in every other way we can."

Shoppers are encouraged to visit www.littletraveler.com/shop to view thousands of products, including special gift bundles.

Employees will still be working inside the store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to shop for customers, using Zoom, FaceTime or other social media apps. Shoppers are also encouraged to visit The Little Traveler's Facebook page for live product demonstrations.

Shoppers can also enjoy Atrium Cafe favorites through curbside carry-out. Pies, cookies, sweet breads, quiches and soups are also available for order on the online store.

No date was given for reopening for in-store shopping.
