Domestic battery
Sandwich police arrested Francisco Alvarado-Perez, 23, of the 800 block of Church Street, Sandwich, at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 3. Alvarado-Perez was charged with domestic battery. Police said Alvarado-Perez was not able to post bond. After standard booking procedures, Alvarado-Perez was taken to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore and will receive a court date from there, police said.
Criminal damage to government supported property,
aggravated battery to peace officer
Sandwich police arrested Darren Horvath, 29, of Downers Grove at 10:56 p.m. Oct. 2. Horvath was charged with criminal damage to government supported property and aggravated battery to a peace officer. Police said Horvath was not able to post bond. After standard booking procedures, Horvath was taken to the DeKalb County Jail, where he will receive a court date, police said.
