Driving while license revoked
Plano police arrested Shane Harris, 48, of the 300 block of South Louis Street, Plano, on charges of driving while license revoked, driving with no valid registration and driving without insurance after police conducted a traffic stop on Harris who police said was driving a lawn mower on the roadway at 7:48 p.m., Sept. 1, in the area of Main and Hugh streets. Harris was taken into custody and transported to the Plano Police Department where he was later released with a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
Warrant arrest
Plano police arrested Lydia Chavez, 35, of the 3100 block of Hoffman Street, Plano, on a failure to appear warrant issued in her name for driving while license suspended at 9:46 p.m., Sept. 1, in the 3100 block of Hoffman Street. Chavez was taken into custody and transported to the police station where she later posted bond and was given a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
Warrant arrest
Plano police arrested Anna A. Ortiz, 33, of the 600 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, on an Aurora police arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic battery charge at 9:15 a.m., Sept. 2, in the area of South and Lew streets. Ortiz was taken into custody and was later released after posting bond.
Obstructing a peace officer
Plano police arrested Manuel M. Cruz, 25, of the 2300 block of Titus Drive, Yorkville, on a charge of obstructing a peace officer, after responding to a report of a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks on Hale Street, just south of Main Street at 1:09 a.m., Sept. 4. Cruz was transported to the police station and later released.
In-state warrant
Plano police arrested Theresa Sinning, 50, of the 100 block of Garfield Street, Hinckley, on a warrant for failure to appear in court for a charge of driving while license suspended at 10:22 p.m., Sept. 4 at a business in the 6800 block of West Route 34. Sinning was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await bond.
